We welcome the Hochschule Hannover - University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HsH) as new contributing institution!
The HsH Library is in charge of the University’s Open Access Publishing Fund, which received supports by the DFG under its Open-Access Publishing Programme until 2020.

The initial data set provided by the HsH covers publication fees for 10 articles published in 2020 and 2021, total expenditure amounts to 11,482€ and the average fee is 1,148€. The contribution also provided cost data on one article published under the DEAL agreement with Springer Nature in 2020 which is not included in this list.

Ulm University has updated its APC expenditures, the latest contribution provides data for the 2021 periods.
Ulm’s Communication and Information Center (kiz) is in charge of the University’s University’s Open Access Publishing Fund, which received support by the DFG under its Open-Access Publishing Programme until 2016.

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) has provided its remaining APC data for the 2021 period.
Within the framework of the SNSF’s OA policy, grantees are required to publish the results of their research in the form of Open Access publications. APC data on those publications is kindly made available to OpenAPC.

The new data set provided by the SNSF covers publication fees for 594 additional articles.
In total, the SNSF paid for 1,038 articles in 2021, with an aggreagted expenditure of 2,299,065€ and an average fee of 2,215€.
