The Library Wissenschaftspark Albert Einstein has provided us with data on APC expenditures for the 2020 period at the GFZ (German Research Centre for Geosciences). In addition, the library has also reported cost data on hybrid articles published under the DEAL agreements with Wiley and Springer Nature.

Cost data
The new dataset covers publication fees for 69 articles. Total expenditure amounts to 131 872€ and the average fee is 1 911€.

The University of Siegen has updated its expenditures, the latest contribution provides data for the 2020 period on APCs, BPCs, and hybrid OA articles published under the Springer and Wiley DEAL agreements.
Siegen University Library is in charge of the University’s Open Access Publishing Fund, which received support under the DFG’s Open Access Publishing Programme until 2019.
