DIPF joins OpenAPC

We welcome the DIPF (Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education) as new contributing institution!

The DIPF’s Educational Research Library Frankfurt operates the DIPF publications database and the institutional Open Access repository and has provided an initial data set to OpenAPC.

Cost data

The initial dataset provided by the DIPF covers publication fees for 21 articles published in 2019 and 2020, total expenditure amounts to 38,176€ and the average fee is 1,818€. The DIPF also provided BPC data for 3 OA monographs (not shown here).

IAB reports its 2019 APC expenditures

The IAB (Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung) has updated its APC expenditures, the latest contribution provides data for the 2019 period. The report also covered cost data on hybrid articles published under the DEAL agreement with Wiley.

The IAB is a research institute and special office of the German Federal Employment Agency.

Cost Data

The new dataset covers publication fees for 24 articles. Total expenditure amounts to 57,506€ and the average fee is 2,396€.

The following table shows the payments the IAB has made to publishers in 2019. Please note that articles published in hybrid Wiley journals under the DEAL agreement are not included in this list, as they are aggregated in OpenAPC’s transformative agreements data set.

IGB reports its 2020 APC expenditures

The Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB) has updated its APC expenditures, the latest contribution provides data for the 2020 period and some more articles for 2019.

The IGB Library manages the institution’s APC expenditures and the IGB publishing fund established in 2018.
