We welcome the University of Marburg as new contributing institution!

Marburg University Library is in charge of the University’s Open Access Publishing Fund, which is supported under the DFG’s Open Access Publishing Programme.

Couperin.org provides additional APC data for 2017

The Couperin consortium collects data on APC expenditures from universities and other research institutions in France.

APC expenditures for 4 more institutions have now been made available to OpenAPC, introducing three new participants.

Contact Persons for Couperin are Valerie Larroque and Sandrine Malotaux.

Cost data

The new data set provided by Couperin covers publication fees for 104 articles published in 2017. Total expenditure amounts to 179 618€ and the average fee is 1 727€.

The data originates from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI), MINES ParisTech, the Université de la Réunion and the Université de Montpellier. Additionally, 2017 data for INSERM was replaced completelly, introducing about 60 more articles (not included into this report).
