Leipzig University updates its 2015 APC expenditures

Leipzig University has provided us with an update of its 2015 APC expenditures.

Leipzig University Library is in charge of the University’s Open Access Publishing Fund, which is supported by the DFG under its Open-Access Publishing Programme.

The update provides some corrections to Leipzig’s 2015 APC data and extends the dataset. It now contains 114 articles, which the fund covered in 2015 so far. Total expenditure amounts to 165 071€ and the average fee is 1 448€.

TU Clausthal updates its 2015 APC expenditures

The TU Clausthal has updated its APC expenditures. The latest contribution provides data for the 2015 period.

FWF joins OpenAPC

Today we are very happy to announce our first international contribution: The FWF, Austria’s largest research funding organisation, has decided to join the Open APC initiative and share its expenditures for Open Access publications.

The initial dataset contributed by the FWF contains information on publication fees paid in the years 2013, 2014 and 2015.

The dataset covers publication fees for 3,302 articles. Total expenditure amounts to 7 167 558€ and the average fee is 2 171€.
