The University of Kassel has updated its APC expenditures for the year 2015.
The University Library is in charge of the Open Access Publication Funds of the university,
which is receiving support by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) under its Open-Access Publishing Programme.

Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL) provides institutional funding for Open Access publications for researchers affiliated with the Max Planck Society. MPDL makes use of central agreements with Open Access publishers. It has now updated its expenditures for Open Access articles in the New Journal of Physics.
Please note that article processing charges funded locally by Max Planck Institutes are not part of this data set. The Max Planck Society has a limited input tax reduction. The refund of input VAT for APC is 20%.

The data set covers publication fees for 522 articles published in the New Journal of Physics by MPG researchers, which MPDL covered from 2006 until 2014. Total expenditure amounts to 497 229€ and the average fee is 953€.
