The Forschungszentrum Jülich collects publication cost data from German institutions as part of the DFG programme “Open Access Publication Funding”.
When reporting their publication costs, the Humboldt University of Berlin (HU Berlin) had agreed to share the data with OpenAPC as well. This data has now been transferred and integrated.
The University Library of HU Berlin is in charge of the University’s Open Access Publishing Fund, which receives support by the DFG under its Open Access Publication Funding Programme.

Cost data
The new data covers publication fees for 170 articles, total expenditure amounts to 313,755€ and the average fee is 1,846€.
The following table provides an overview. Please note that BPCs are not included in this list, as they are aggregated in OpenAPC’s BPC dataset.

When reporting their publication costs, the Furtwangen University had agreed to share the data with OpenAPC as well. This data has now been transferred and integrated, making the institution participate in OpenAPC for the first time.
HFU libraries are in charge of the University’s Open Access Publishing Fund, which receives support under the DFG’s Open Access Publication Funding Programme.
