University of Augsburg joins OpenAPC

The Forschungszentrum Jülich collects publication cost data from German institutions as part of the DFG programme “Open Access Publication Funding”.

When reporting their publication costs, the University of Augsburg had agreed to share the data with OpenAPC as well. This data has now been transferred and integrated, making the university participate in OpenAPC for the first time.

The initial data set provided by the University of Augsburg covers publication fees for 29 articles, total expenditure amounts to 67,747€ and the average fee is 2,336€.

When reporting their publication costs, the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin (ASH Berlin) had agreed to share the data with OpenAPC as well. This data has now been transferred and integrated, making the university participate in OpenAPC for the first time.

Ulm University 2022 APC data integrated

The Forschungszentrum Jülich collects publication cost data from German institutions as part of the DFG programme “Open Access Publication Funding”.

When reporting their publication costs, Ulm University had agreed to share the data with OpenAPC as well. This data has now been transferred and integrated.

Ulm’s Communication and Information Center (kiz) is in charge of the University’s University’s Open Access Publishing Fund, which received support by the DFG under its Open-Access Publishing Programme until 2016.
