University of Kiel updates its APC expenditures
12 Jan 2024The Forschungszentrum Jülich collects publication cost data from German institutions as part of the DFG programme “Open Access Publication Funding”.
When reporting their publication costs, the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel had agreed to share the data with OpenAPC as well. This data has now been transferred and integrated.
Kiel University Library is in charge of the University’s Open Access Publishing Fund, which receives support by the DFG under its Open Access Publication Funding Programme.

The new data set covers publication fees for 178 articles. Total expenditure amounts to 357 259€ and the average fee is 2 007€.
