Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft 2022 APC data integrated
17 Jan 2024The Forschungszentrum Jülich collects publication cost data from German institutions as part of the DFG programme “Open Access Publication Funding”.
When reporting their publication costs, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e. V. (FHG) (Fraunhofer Society) had agreed to share the data with OpenAPC as well. This data has now been transferred and integrated.
In the past, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft has already made APC expenditures available to OpenAPC. This data originates from the central Fraunhofer Publication Fund.

The new data set provided by Fraunhofer covers publication fees for 298 articles, total expenditure amounts to 539,727€ and the average fee is 1,811€.
