Gates Foundation contributes data to OpenAPC
14 May 2024The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has updated its APC expenditures, the latest contribution provides data for the 2019 - 2024 period.
The Foundation provides funding for OA fees in accordance with their Open Access policy and has kindly provided data on those expenditures to OpenAPC.

The new data set covers publication fees for 9,170 articles. Total expenditure amounts to 23 865 243€ and the average fee is 2 603€.
